Hello all,

Ben Nickley, Alex Nickley, and I had an Eared Grebe at 2pm today, Sunday,
December 22, just east of the east breakwall at Cleveland Lakefront Nature
Preserve. The bird had dark auriculars, a peaked crest, a dark neck, a dark
tip to the upturned bill, poofy white flanks, and was somewhat smaller than
nearby Horned Grebes. Also present was a Red-necked Grebe, some Horned
Grebes, and a Pied-billed Grebe, totaling four grebe species in view at
once.

The Le Conte's Sparrow continued in the central grasslands. Iceland and
Glaucous Gulls were between E 72nd and Edgewater Marina.

Good birding,
Sean
