We saw 2 previously reported Snowy Owls sitting on the ice off the causeway at Mosquito around noon today.  Probably would not have spotted them without the help of another couple whose names we did not get.  Thank you, whoever you are.  The owls were on the south side of the causeway, 1 on the east end, 1 on the west end.  There was also a female Long-tailed Duck on the north side of the causeway, very close.  Owl were not so close.  There was also a huge amount of waterfowl way out, backlit by a bright sun, lots of glare and heat waves.  You get the picture.  Or not.
