The Harlequin Duck at Huntington has already made it onto GreatLakesWaterfowler.com hunting forum. Fortunately the bird is very close to shore and only illegal hunting methods would be the only way for hunters to take this bird. This happened years ago when a Harlequin at 72nd was shot point blank by a birder/hunter from this site. Get up to see this bird ASAP and cross your fingers.
