Greetings,
Made my first winter trip to the Lake Erie shore on a bitter cold day yesterday but it was very enjoyable to be out and run into a couple other birders and to see some ducks and gulls.
Eastlake Seawall
2 Glaucous Gulls - 1 ad and 1 1st winter
Nice variety of waterfowl
E 72nd St
Spent about 3 hours here total without seeing the kittiwake
One Bonaparte's Gull gave us a momentary start, but obviously not a kittiwake
Great to see other gulls and waterfowl up close
Had a great look at a Peregrine Falcon too.
Carlton Schooley
now in Minerva (Stark)
