About 5:00PM today, observed from the parking lot at 100th Bomb Group
Restaurant, 1 snowy owl in the grass at Hopkins airport close enough that
it was visible with the naked eye and binoculars, no scope necessary.
Watched it sit and then stretch upwards and lift its head up high and then
fly a few feet and then fly a few feet again a few minutes later. Started
getting too dark so that was the end of viewing. Also so 2 red-tailed
hawks around the perimeter of the airport flying right above the tree
lines.
