Seems to be the day for Bald Eagles. Two bald eagles sitting on the nest at the old Heron rookery north of Station Road trailhead in the Brecksville reservation. This was at 10 am this morning
At 12 noon we were driving on Akron Pennisula Road south of the Akron Water Treatment plant close to the intersection of Portage Trail. 2 immature bald eagles were flying overhead. As we passed through the intersection of Portage Trail and by the Cuyahoga River, two more adult bald eagles were flying and then landed on the high tension wire towers. A total of 6 this morning!!!!
On the drive on Akron Pennisua road from Truxell to portage trail, 4 red tails , and an American kestrel observed in addition
Happy birding!!!
