Just west of Circleville on the Island Road quarry seen this morning first by Blaine Keckley – a first winter female White-winged Scoter. The same also seen this afternoon by Melanie Shuter as well as one immature Greater White-fronted Goose, hundreds of Canadas, Mallards, about 20 Redheads, several Lesser Scaup.
At Deer Creek State Park beach seen by Blaine in the morning – one Long-Tailed Duck, Common Goldeneyes, and Canvasbacks. The same seen in the afternoon by Melanie plus, one Hooded Merganser, several Red-breasted Mergansers, and Ruddy Ducks.
