I stopped at several parks along this trajectory this morning, including Renceroth & Fryar in Grove City and the Indian Ridge, Cedar Ridge, and Teal Trail in Battelle Darby MetroPark. Snow cover was moderate as the temperature rose above freezing for part of the morning. Notables included:

Ring-billed Gulls - commuting flocks were flying over Renceroth, headed for the Trash Dump, for the entier 20 minutes I was there, with a total of over 600 birds.

Cooper's Hawk - none at Darby, but a male was patrolling at Fryar Park woods

N.Harriers - at least 4 were flying over the Teal Trail wetlands, easily seen from the overlook at the parking lot.

Kestrels - not very common, with singles along Kropp Rd and Darby Creek Rd

Pileated Woodpecker - 1 was mining a snag along the Terrace Trail at Indian Ridge

Horned Larks - small flocks in a few spots, the biggest being 25 birds along Kuhlwein Rd

Golden-cr.Kinglets - widespread, but no great numbers, with 1-2 at most locations

E.Bluebirds - small flocks at Renceroth and Indian Ridge

Yellow-rumped Warblers - also widespread, with 2-3 at most forested locations

Tree Sparrows - small numbers at most stops, the most being 12+ along Kuhlwein Rd
