There was a Ross’s Goose on the Great Miami in Dayton yesterday (Saturday). It was viewed from the bike path near Kaplan College – across the river from Sunwatch Village. This looks like an immature bird with a dark smudge between the eye and bill and a bit of gray on the flanks towards the front of the bird, but not nearly as much gray as the Ross’s Goose recently seen in West Carrollton and Miamisburg.
