Larry Jeanblanc, Julie Karlson, and I drove to Madison County to look for
the reported Snowy Owl. After looking around for a while we spotted it a
couple hundred yards west of Route 38 just south of Crawford Road. It flew
to the northwest and we drove north to Selsor Moon Road and were able to
find the bird again south of that road.
