Went to Spitzer Marina yesterday afternoon in search of the snowy owl but before I could locate it an American Kestrel treated
me to a display of its hunting prowess...several photos:

Later did get to see two snowies in the middle of the harbor, one on the northernmost east/west breakwall viewed from the next one back, the other by
the iced up barrel further out.
