I was excited to have a tufted titmouse visit my feeder on South Bass Island
this morning. Had heard it calling in the woods beside the house this
morning. My neighbor had reported one during our Christmas Bird Count.

Although this is a common bird for the rest of Ohio, it is rare for us on the
islands to see a titmouse. Looks like this one is spending the winter!
