Mainly Perry County Birders (and Margaret),

On each of the last three days, I have found Lapland Longspurs in Perry
county, Monday on OK Sweeney Road, Tuesday on Big Inch Road, and Today
along Rt 13 North of Somerset where the Poorman farms had spread manure on
their fields. Each time there were 4 or 5 in a group of about 50 Horned
Larks. I have seen exactly one Longspur in the previous thirty years in
Perry County, so I consider this significant.
Not that anyone is counting, but it brought my county year total to 66.
