Hello Peggy!

It's Kristen Beck! Nice to "see" you on the list!

To answer your question regarding Stark County sitings...there was a recent post of one spotted near Singer Lake located on the west side of the Akron-Canton Airport area. Jim McCormic had also noted a Stark County siting on his map, but I am not sure who reported that one.

I drove down to Wayne County and saw one on Kidron Road, south of Lehman's hardware, north of rt. 250, but there was also a second one reported south of 250.

Hope that helps!!

Kristen

> Hi,
> I hope I am using this list properly. I am wondering, first, if any snowy owls have been reported at or around Akron-Canton Airport in Stark/Summit counties. Also, how long should we anticipate the snowy owls to remain this far south?
