I lucked into one of those wonderfully unpredictable gull concentrations at Oberlin Reservoir, this morning.  There are two small leads in the ice around which the birds were gathered.  Highlights:

Great Black-backed  15
Lesser Black-backed  5  3 ad, 2nd, 1st
Iceland  3  ad, 2 1st
Thayer's  1  1st
Glaucous  1  2nd

Birds continue to come and go.
