Annie and I saw one Snowy Owl perched on the ice at Buckeye Lake today from the Fairfield Beach picnic area. We were hoping for some gulls. No gulls but we were not disappointed Annie spotted the owl on the ice and we were able to get good scoped looks. This was the first owl my lovely wife has seen that was not reported by someone else first; making it a special find.
