Just before the rain hit a few minutes ago Ben Morrison & I located a 1st cycle Glaucous Gull low over the Bolivar landfill viewed from Downing St just west of the KOA. Scope and patience are a necessity as the birds are distant and often land out of sight. The same location held an adult Great Black - backed Gull several days ago. Harrier and Rough-legged Hawk are in the same area.
