Should it be the responsibility of the poster to cross post sightings?
I believe we are fortunate, in Ohio, to have many resources available. From this list serve, e-Bird, to the many outlets with social media, all are accessible from a computer or smart phone. Most cases poster is accessible via these same methods for specifics on location or etc.
If I am interested in a specific bird or area I have these many resources to search from. Just as many of us use or own different field guides, we use them as references.

Thanks,
Mark Shaver
