The number of grackles is increasing and my FOY killdeer was heard today.
Bluebirds and many other species were singing UNTIL the wind began.

Subject: [Ohio-birds] woodcocks in Meigs Co.

Last night as I was outside enjoying the warm southern breeze, I heard the
sound of spring I have been waiting for! Two woodcocks were calling and
doing their courtship flights overhead. That wonderful chirping, "dripping
water" sound surely means that more warm evenings are on the way.
