How would one dispose of a bird like this?
I always try to take them to a nature center in case they can be used for taxidermy or education?

Chris:

No one really to report that I am aware of.  Winter mortality for raptors, especially first year birds is always heavy, made worse by the deep freezes we've had making prey even more scarce.  One way of looking at the odds for survival of young raptors is if you're not an A student, you flunk the high stake game of life.
