It doesn't take the birds long to take advantage of a snow melt and warmer
weather. We found 24 Tundra Swans on Prairie Road just outside of Wooster
in Wayne County and another group of 12 on Wilderness Road south of Funk
Bottoms Wildlife Area. There were hundreds of Canada Geese on Wilderness
Road and we found 2 Snow Geese among them.

The Snowy Owl put on quite a show at the Wayne County Airport, flying into
the corn field and back to a snow pile on the airport.
