I have reviewed the photo posted by Mark H. of an Iceland gull along the
Scioto south of the Broad Street bridge. This does not match the bird I saw
from the Federal Courthouse on Tuesday. "My" bird was much whiter, with
only the slightest hint of gray, and the bill showed more yellow, of course
with a dark tip. It was the right size for an Iceland gull, only slightly
larger than the nearby ring-billed gulls.
Interesting... Are there two of them around?
