Tim Jasinski found and photographed a subadult Pomarine Jaeger this afternoon at Avon Lake power plant. He initially found bird on the beach, it then flew up and swing out towards open Lake then came back to land very close to shore. One photo on Birding Ohio and Ohio Rare Bird Alert Facebook pages. Tim has more photos that will assist in aging the bird. Bird is heavily marked like an intermediate immature but has a white cheek patch.
