In addition to the social network links there are two ways birders can get
rare bird sightings reported to eBird.

1) Get the eBird Rare Bird alert
http://ebird.org/ebird/alert/summary?sid=SN35533

This alert lists all the rare bird sightings reported to eBird in the last
7 days. If you wish to subscribe you can click the "Subscribe to this
alert" button to sign up to get an email (daily or hourly) delivering these
sightings to your email.

2) View the BirdTrax rarities report
http://ohioebirdhotspots.wikispaces.com/Birding+in+Ohio

The BirdTrax gadget on the Ohio eBird Hot Spot web site reports rare bird
sightings reported to eBird over the past 14 days. May birders like this
presentation because it lists the most recent sightings first. There is a
green checkmark for those sightings which have been confirmed by the eBird
checklist review.

The BirdTrax report is available on each county page of the Ohio eBird Hot
Spot web site reporting all the sightings in the county in the last 30
days. You can click on the "Rarities" link to see rare bird sightings in
the county.
