Two of my students found what they thought was a Thayer's Gull on the Ohio
River this morning at the Hannibal Lock and Dam.  They were on the WV side
of the dam, however.  They took four pics with a phone through the spotting
scope.  I've posted the pics on the Birding Ohio Facebook page.  Check it
out and see what you think.  They also found 8 Red-necked Grebes along the
river at various location.
