This am there were two Tundra Swans at Cowan Lake's east end.  They both had light gray heads and necks.  There were also Cormorants, Pintails and Scaups.  The water is very low and there is still ice in the middle of the lake so most waterfowl are fairly easy to see.  On the way out of Cowan on Yankee Road there also was a Meadowlark.
