The Berlin Lake Bike trail south off Rt 224 between Deerfield and Berlin Lake is very birdy right now. Today east of the trail there was 1 1st year Iceland Gull, 1 3rd year Glaucous Gull, 4 adult Lesser Black-backed Gulls and one White-winged Scoter among 19 species of waterfowl. Other goodies should be found here in the coming days. There were excellent numbers and diversity of waterfowl in the Stark County portion of Berlin Lake south of the Price Road bridge as well.
