I photographed 6 white geese this afternoon at Walter C. Best Preserve near
Chardon, OH and would like some help with their I.D.

I have very little experience with Snow Geese but these birds remind me more
of barnyard stock then wild birds.  If you click once on the first picture
it will enlarge and you can see my notes at the bottom of each image.



Here are my concerns:



.         No black wing tips evident on any of these birds

.         No prominent grin patch on any of them

.         All their heads appear elongated rather than 'rounded'

.         Two of them are tan in color, a color I have not seen in any field
guide for Snow Geese

.         One of them has a face patch that reminds me of a Canada Goose



I really want them to be Snow Geese but I want more to be correct on the
I.D.
