> First time poster here. Heard and saw (always hear them first) Sandhill Cranes this morning on Pond Rd. near Burton Wetlands. Saw one in flight (awesome) and heard several others well off the road on private property. Did not go to investigate.
> Also had a Brown Creeper at our feeders and continue to enjoy sights and sounds of our colony of Red-Headed Woodpeckers that have been wintering over on our property for the last several years.

> The Berlin Lake Bike trail south off Rt 224 between Deerfield and Berlin Lake is very birdy right now. Today east of the trail there was 1 1st year Iceland Gull, 1 3rd year Glaucous Gull, 4 adult Lesser Black-backed Gulls and one White-winged Scoter among 19 species of waterfowl. Other goodies should be found here in the coming days. There were excellent numbers and diversity of waterfowl in the Stark County portion of Berlin Lake south of the Price Road bridge as well.
