Red-necked grebe remains in the canal at Manchester Rd. While observing the divers across the street, FIVE sandhill cranes flew over.

Over 900 Aythya ducks at Turkeyfoot Lake. 19 tundra swans noticed the activity, but did not stop, and flew directly over my head. Heard screech-owl and pileated.

Another 35 swans were resting in a small lead at Nimisila. The shallow southeast end is open and had mainly hooded mergansers.
