The lake is about 1/2  ice free.  Nice mix of waterfowl on the lake this
morning:



38 TUNDRA SWAN
21 Canada Geese

  4 Bufflehead

  6 Common Merganser

  1 Red-breasted Merganser
  5 Ring-necked Duck
3 Lesser Scaup
  4 Mallard
  2 Pintail
  1 Bald Eagle (2nd year)
  1 Horned Grebe
~ 30 Ring-billed Gulls
  1 Amer Tree Sparrow
  5 Red-winged Blackbird

I also sighted a Northern Harrier (female), 4 Amer Kestrels, and two
Red-tailed Hawks along the roads on the drive to/from the lake.
