The Ohio Dominican Birding Club visited Killdeer Plains this afternoon, and enjoyed over 50 bird species. The highlights included multiple Bald Eagles flying over us, thousands of ducks, and 3 Red-necked Grebes. A few of us also observed one Ross's Goose with Canada Geese on Morral-Kirkpatrick Road. Additionally, there were breeding-plumaged Lapland Longspurs along Washburn Road. We also observed 3 Rough-legged Hawks. Full checklist:
