My wife & I went out to Sandy Ridge, North Ridgeville, on March 25th
looking specifically for the Eurasian Wigeon. With the help of the resident
naturalist & his spotting scope we were able to see him.
Viewing time was 2:45 PM to 3:30 PM.
Weather conditions at the start were blizzard and about 28 deg F, but
tapered off to light snow with somewhat limited visibility.
The waterfowl were abundant and diverse. I highly recommend a trip there
soon. Undoubtedly we missed several species, but these are most of the
species we were able to identify, in no particular order.
