There are currently two trumpeter swans in the Mill Run Pond located just past the fire station on Fishinger Rd. west of Dublin Rd. I say trumpeter because of the entirely black bill. Both are wearing yellow neck collars and leg bands, and I will report the numbers to USGS. I drive past this pond all the time and have never seen swans in there.
You can turn onto Mill Run Drive and park behind the condos and walk right down. They are in a PUDDLE along with a pie-billed grebe, a redhead, three lesser scaup, a pair of ring-neck ducks, mallards, and ring-billed gulls.
