I was parked at the 100th Bomb Group over my lunch break today (around 2
PM).  Driving up there were three Red Tailed hawks soaring over the parking
lot.  Shortly thereafter there was a kettle of 6 or 7 hawks over the
western end of the runways.  At least two were Rough Legged hawks.  As air
traffic picked up, many made their way to the east and settled in the
various grassy areas between and at the end of the runways.  One of which
was clearly a juvenile Golden Eagle.  I got a good look at it a couple of
times and could clearly see the white tail and wing markings.  Just before
I had to leave, I scanned the ground at the eastern end of the runways and
counted 10 raptors (not sure if there were more Golden Eagles, with all of
them on the ground a ways off, identification at that point was pretty
difficult with just my binoculars).

p.s., forgive me if my directions are a bit off.  I always think of the
runways as going E/W vs. N/S.  Perhaps they're more NE/SW?
