This evening, I checked out Woods Road and 3 other flooded fields near
Ansonia
There were shorebirds moving.
at different times flocks of 30 to 50 shorebirds were coming or going at
the different wetlands.
Shorebirds species seen tonight:
Killdeer
Gr and Lesser Yellowlegs
Am. Golden Plovers
Semi-palmated Plover(one at Woods Road)
Pectorals.
Still several Blue-Wing Teal and some Green-Wing Teal
N. Shovelers, Wood Ducks, and coots.
