Many flooded fields.
Yesterday, I visited the wetland on Woods Road between Rossburg and
Ansonia.  Highlights were
White Fronted Geese 4
Many Redhead, L. Scaup, Ringneck ducks
Blue Wing Teal and N. Shovelors
60 or more coots and 1 pied-billed grebe.
My FOY Solitary Sandpiper

At Elroy, there were 2 Horned Grebes.  One grebe was turning to breeding
plumage.

This morning, I drove around the western part of the county
Highlights:
Snow geese at the wetland on Hollandsburg- Tampico Road just south of 36
2 or 3 flooded fields with
Pectoral sandpipers
Gr and Lesser Yellowlegs
