Bill Whan and I arrived at the Wet Prairie Trail at Batelle-Darby Metropark about 9 AM and found Jason Simonis with the previously reported yellow-headed blackbird in his scope. The bird was in the cat-tails on the far side of the big pond and gave good looks for 20 minutes or so. The bird was not in sight when we left.

An American bittern was calling from the cat-tail marsh north of Kumlein Road.
