Good morning birding Conneaut Harbor before the rain hit. http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S17887558 Seen first of the year hermit thrush, ruby-crowned kinglet, and the first shorebird to the sandbar (that I have seen) a single dunlin.

I'm hoping that one of the more experienced birders can help me with a tern ID. It's either a common or Forster's tern. https://www.flickr.com/photos/100129144@N03/ This guy was pretty far off and flew out over the lake before I could get any closer for better pictures. Any help would be appreciated as this is a FOY for me!!!

Happy birding!
Chris Swan
