Visited a  property in southern Perry County yesterday, and got
some excellent  photos of a Henslow's sparrow.  They are posted to

This magnificent site had multiple Henslow's sparrows,  and thanks to the
owner for inviting us to see them.

     Also posted a pair Barred Owl photos, one full frontal, the other just
the top of the head as it was sitting on a nest.  Needless to say, look
forward to some family portraits, as this nest is on my own property, quite
close to the house, and quite accessible.
