This afternoon, Tuesday, from about 2:30PM to about 3:00PM, three Red-necked Grebes were observed by us from The Marina Area off of Price Road at Walborn Reservoir in northeast Stark County. A scope is necessary. From the bluff by the picnic shelter, look to the south, to the left of the island. Of the spattering of waterfowl also present, there were Northern Shoveler, Lesser Scaup, Ring-necked Duck, Pied-billed Grebe, and Ruddy Duck. It was cold, wet, and windy.
