Today, we did an Easter visit to our old stomping grounds, the Conneaut Harbor Area in Ashtabula County, from about 1:30PM to the present 3:10PM. At the end of the marina road we were excitedly greeted by the previously reported Red-throated Loon. The temperature is a brisk 52 degrees with the usual Conneaut windy conditions. Some of the other highlights are 32 Caspian Terns out on "The Sandspit", Ruddy Ducks, Common Loon, Lesser Scaup, Bonaparte's Gulls, and Red-breasted Mergansers.
