Dan G and I did a mini big day (7 hours) in Erie County (only Erie County) and scored 90 species. He just picked up 91-American Bittern, and 92, Whip-poor-will at Sheldon Marsh SNP. Numbers of birds not exceptional but diversity was good, with 11 species of shorebirds, 13 waterfowl, 10 raptors, 3 warbler species including a migrant Prothonotary at Sheldon, and a good mix of passerines overall. Bird your local patches! We're at the tipping point for a large wave of new arrivals--- good luck and good night
