I was sitting in my car after lunch near the Peat Bog Pond in Northfield
Center. Kind of quiet for about half an hour except for a song sparrow.
Then, I had 12 yellow-rumped warblers, 3 palm warblers and 1 yellow warbler
drop in. They started foraging in the landscape beds' wood chips, in the
grass and in the small trees around the small parking lot. One female
cardinal tried to chase the warblers away. It gave up. Too many for her.
