        Lake Hope State Park & Zaleski State Forest are located 15 miles
south of Nelsonville(Rte 33), off of Rte 278. Yesterday(April 24th) I
visited the area. The vegetation growth is getting better. I visited
various Clear Cuts & Shelter Woods. The ones on Baptist Church Rd had the
most birds. Three other places that had bird activity are Hope Furnace,
Shea & Hopemoonville Rd.  Below is a list of some of the Birds found.

   Warblers
         Louisiana Waterthrush-saw one carrying food
         Ovenbird
         Yellow-rumped
         Bay-breasted-early-1
         Black-throated Green
         Kentucky-2
         Chestnut-sided-2
         Hooded
         Cerulean-3
         Black-and-white
         N Parula-4
         American Redstart-2
         Yellow-throated
         Pine
         Blue-winged-2
         Prairie
         C Yellowthroat-1
         Yellow-1

    Vireos
         Red-eyed
         White-eyed
         Blue-headed
         Yellow-throated

    Misc
          Hawks
              Red-tailed
              Red-shouldered
              Cooper's
           Woodpeckers
              Pileated
              Hairy
              Red-headed
              Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
         Wood Thrush
         Wood Ducks
         Herons
              Great Blue
              Green
         E Kingbird
