Tammie and I started the morning at Indian Creek Wildlife Area in Brown
County. There were many ducks and geese including many Ring-neck Ducks and
Redheads. We also found a very agitated Red-tailed Hawk near what appeared
to be a nest in progress. The complete list can be viewed here:

From Indian Creek we proceeded to go to the Highland County Gravel Pits.
There we found an active Osprey Nest and two active Red-tail Hawk nests.
There continues to be 4 Red-necked Grebes and Horned Grebes. Two of the
Red-necked Grebe appeared to courting. Many ducks could be seen in the pits
from the end of Price B (rd) but the heat rising off of the water made it
impossible to identify any of them. The complete list can be viewed here.

Finally, we went to Rocky Fork Sp. where there was a big fishing tournament
going on. The fishing was from the bank so there were still many ducks on
the lake including lots of Ruddys and Horned Grebes. Tree Swallows were
common along with one Northern Rough-winged swallow. There was an Osprey
here as well. The complete list can be viewed here:
