Bill Kinkead called me about an hour ago to tell me that he had an adult
Yellow-crowned Night-heron at the nest in Bexley. This was good news. I
have been by the nest four times in the last several weeks without any
signs of the herons.
The nest is over Preston Rd.in a large sycamore. Preston Rd. is a short
road that runs south off of Broad Street. It is just east of Wolfe Park.
This is a very nice residential area. Please, only look up for the
nest/birds, not at any homes or trees in the yards.
