It is presently 8:05AM, Sunday morning. Fortunately The Auto Tour Gate was open early at 7:45AM. Yesterday's, previously reported Eared Grebe is in compound MS3. When you reach the hard right hand turn after crossing the Crane Creek Bridge, a square fenced in area is on the left, look straight ahead across the canal, diagonally to the left. The Eared Grebe can easily be seen, in the company of two American Coots. The bird is in Lucas County. This bird is a beauty.

Bob Lane / Mahoning County, Ohio
