Most of the  regular nesters  are back now in our yard and woods
Just heard a Hooded Warbler calling from the ravine and located it, with another one calling as well - they have been nesting each summer for at least the last few years.
Catbirds, grosbeaks, towhees, phoebes,  orioles, wrens all back, not to mention the cowbirds.  Juncos nesting in two areas - they are also regular summer residents here.
First female hummingbird arrived to join the males on Wednesday
