Two Black-necked Stilts were seen at length by many folks on west side of Magee Marsh causeway today, half way down causeway. Dan Gesualdo had an adult Mississippi Kite fly west over Sheldon Marsh area mid day. At least 10 American White Pelicans continue in area between Metzger and Magee, most often seen in flight as they move around and back and forth. The adult male Kirtland's Warbler on Kelley's Island was seen again today by a handful of folks. A female Kirtland's was found and photographed by ONWR staff on private property east of Maumee this morning. A Purple Gallinule was found yesterday at Big island wildlife area- few details. A Red-necked Phalarope was seen at Pearson Metropark north unit today. Yellow-headed Blackbirds, King Rail, and continuing breeding plumage Eared Grebe found on Ottawa NWR auto tour today.
